key Government officials connected with Revision of Rolls – Orders - Issued

O R D E R:

  1.  The Election Commission has announced the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls, 2020 and a schedule has been fixed for taking up the SSR, 2020 with the date of draft publication on 15.10.2019. Accordingly, ban on transfers and postings of key Government officials connected with the Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls, 2020 has been imposed vide G.O.fifth read above, till 15.01.2020 i.e., from the date of draft publication to final publication of electoral rolls. 
  2. The draft publication has not been made as scheduled due to various reasons like rationalization of polling stations and extension of Electors Verification Programme etc. Now, the Election Commission of India, has issued revised schedule for Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls, 2020 in all Assembly Constituencies of Andhra Pradesh. According to which, draft publication shall be made on 23.12.2019 and final electoral rolls shall be published on 14.02.2020.  
  3. In view of the revised schedule issued by the Election Commission of India, Government hereby extend the ban on transfer of key officials connected with the Revision of Electoral Rolls as mentioned in the G.O. fifth read above till 14.02.2020.
  4.  The authorities noted in the address entry and the Collectors & District Election Officers shall take further necessary action in the matter accordingly.
