జీఓ.286,తేదీ:29.10.91 ప్రకారం 6 నెలలు గరిష్టంగా అర్ధ వేతన సెలవులకి అర్హుడు.ఈ కాలంలో పూర్తి వేతనం పొందవచ్చు.

3. From the Director of Medical Education, A.P., Hyd., Lr. No.56494/M.A.B./88, dt. 1-5-90.
ORDER
- In the G.O.s read above , orders were issued for the drawal of full pay to the extent of six months, in lieu of six months half pay leave at credit, by all regular government servants who are suffering fromLeprosy/ Tuberculosis /Cancer/ Mental illness and Heart deceases irrespective of their pay limit.
- 2. The Director of Medical Education, A.P. Hyderabad in his letter 3rd read above has stated that ìRenal Failureî i.e., kidney failure is yet another fatal diseases which is still more serious and needs prolonged treatment(both pre-operational and post operational) covering one or two years, and requested to extend the benefit of leave Privilege to Govt. Employees with kidney failure also on par with the government employees who are suffering from Leprosy/Tuberculosis/Cancer/Mental illness and Heart deceases and Mental illness, based on the medical opinion tendered by Superintendent, Osmania General Hospital , Hyderabad.
- Government after careful consideration of the issue, hereby order that the benefits of orders contained in G.Os read above, shall be extended to the regular Govt. servants who are suffering with: Renal(Kidney ) failure also.
