RGUKT CET-21 was held on 26-09-2021 at 467 centres in Andhra Pradesh and B centres in Telangana and a total of 70.131 candidates appeared for the examination. Results were declared by Hon'ble Minister for Education on 6th October, 2021.
Admission counselling for 4400 seats including 10% EWS supernumerary seats and for 5% NRI (candidates studied outside AP and Telangana) and global seats will be held in the month of November 2021. NRI and Global candidates need to submit their application during the counselling dates and seats will be filled as per the merit of the candidates in the 10 class or equivalent examination held in 2021. Certificate verification for Special category candidates (NCC, Sports, CAP and PH) will be held at Nuzvid campus from 8th to 12th November, 2021. The detailed schedule is given below.
Candidates under special category who could not submit their details in CET application can also attend verification process with relevant certificates. Candidates eligible for more than one special category can attend the verification process on any common date mentioned above which matches their special categories.
General Admission counselling will be held at both Nuzvid and R.K Valley campuses from 22nd to 30th November, 2021. Candidates still are given the option for corrections in respect of category including EWS, gender, date of birth even at the time of counselling subject to the verification of the original certificates. Candidates therefore. need not worry about wrong entries in the CET application. Candidates can choose their preferred campus among the available campuses as per their rank, category at the time of counselling.
Candidates can attend either at Nuzvid campus or RK Valley campus for counselling to get admission in any of the four campuses located in Nuzvid, RK Valley, Srikakulam and Ongole as per the schedule given below.

(Candidates studied in Nellore, Chittor, Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur Districts)
Non-Local: Open merit seats belong to both AP and Telangana candidates
Attending counselling does not guarantee admission as more number of candidates has been called for counselling than the available seats under all categories to complete the counselling process in one phase.
Candidates are advised to visit the university website, www.rgukt.in for category wise seat availability status on daily basis after commencement of counselling. Candidates are advised to note the available seats on daily basis and accordingly opt to attend the counselling. Candidates should report either to RK Valley Campus or Nuzvid Campus at the specified reporting date and time. Seats will be allotted based on rank among the available reported candidates at the time of Counselling, RGUKT is not responsible for late reporting
Candidates have to continue their study in the respective campus where they are admitted and transfer of campus is not possible once counselling is completed. Every candidate admitted must give an undertaking along with the parent/guardian to comply with it.
Candidates claiming reservation under BC, SC, and ST category need to produce relevant category certificates issued by the competent authority at the time of counselling. The certificate issued in 2021 only will be considered in case of EWS category. Old EWS certificates are not valid as the financial limits of a family vary every year.
Candidates admitted in Ongole campus will study their two years of Pre University Course (PUC) in RK Valley campus
Candidates who have already admitted in other institutions if they get a seat in RGUKT subject to submission of all other original certificates, time will be given for Transfer Certificate (TC). However, the TC in original need to be submitted as per the time given by the Convener.
Certificates that need to be brought by the candidates for counselling will be mentioned in the individual call letters.
