All the District Educational Officers Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the state are invited to the references read above and they are informed that the Government have communicated a copy of reference 1 cited and requested to the relevant authorities to draw up the aforesaid artions: plan, coordinate its implementation by relevant departments and monitor its progress for the most impactful implementation thereof in order to ensure the grand success of this initiative towards celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav

Further, they are informed that the Special Chief Secretary to Government (Tourism, culture, Museums & Archaeology), AP Secretariat, Velagapudi, Amaravati has informed that India will be celebrating 75Anniversary of India's Independence on 15th August 2022. This occasion is being celebrated as Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotany (AKAM), which commenced on 12 March 2021. Many programmes have been formulated by different Departments by the Government of AP for Implementation across regions involving people from all walks of life. These programmes are centered around the themes of Amrit Mahotsav L.e. freelot struggle, ideas@75, actiona@75, resolve 75 and achievements 75. As part of the yearlong celebrations for this purpose, the National Implementation Committee under the chairmanship of the Hon'ble Home Minister has decided that an initiative tile Har Ghar Jhanda' will be launched and celebrated during 11th to 15th August 2022 encouraging and inspiring organizations, Institutions and citizens of India to holst the National Flag at their respective premises. Invoking feelings of patriotism and national pride. It may be mentioned that the Ministry for Home Affairs has amended the Flag Code of India. 2002 thas amended in 2021) to permit both handmade and machine made lags made from polyester fabric in addition to cotton, wool, silk and khadi fabrics permitted earlier. Furthermore, they are informed that the institutions working in the rural areas including the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIS), Self Help Groups (SHOS) & their federations and community level institutions like Anganwadta, health sub centers, cooperatives, sub- Post Offices functioning at different levels, the members of the PRIS, SHIOS, functionaries of the Government programmen, frontline workers such as ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, Gram Rozgar Sewaks, teachers, ete.are specifically encouraged to hoist and fly National flag during the above perind keeping in mind the relevant provisions or the Flag Code of India Hindi & English version is attached). It is also mentioned that the above stitution and functionaries would also motivate members of the public to do so through encouragement, exhortation and various public events thereby greating awareness of and pride in participating in this important celebration. This may be done through seminars, rallies, group prasad discussions, posters and such other mode of communications as the can Institutions/functionaries lind appropriate for reaching out to their stakeholders. It needs to be pointed out that the event provides an opportunity for the members of Self Help Groups to participate through stitching ofNational Flags as they had done during the Covid period throughstitching of masks for protection from Covid. Panchayatt Raj and Rural Development Department is requested to coordinate this activity with State Rural Livelihoods Mission (SRLMs) Finally, a large scale celebration on the occasion will not be possible without
