The attention of all District Education Officers in the state is invited reference read above that, The govermment of Andhra Dradesh has giving utmost priority on implementation of Jaganannna Gorumudda. Nearly 33 lakhs children are getting benefitted in 44000 schools dally duly availing jagananna Gorumuddda.

The Govt has reviewed the malnutrition among school going children and directed to bring drastic changes in the existing menu and instructed to revision of menu to provide the day wise variety menu and issued Govt. Nemo. Under revised menu Government has also ordered to provide Peanut Jaggery chikki for three days and 5 egss in a week as an additional item to address malnutrition. The scheme is implementing w,e.f.Janauary 2020.

Further, Government has reviewed the implementation of Jagananna Gorumudda every fortnight and decided to inclusion of millets to additional nutrition of eggs and Chikki under"Jagananna gorumudda"scheme.

In this connection, it is decided to provide Ragi java (150 ml far each student)to school children for 3 days in a week on non chikki daysti,e. Tuesday, Thrursay Saturday)in all Govt.Schools with the contribution of Sri Satya Sai Cental Trust, Puttaparthi.Department has given the monthy indent of Ragi flour/Jaggerry packets to satya Sai trust and Trust has transport same to District Buffer godowns.Again Civil supplies department is being transport the stock to MLS points in turn to Fair Price Shops basing on the-indent required from schools covered under FP shops.

Further,some of the compliments have been receiving from. Head Masters that, the received stock of ragi jaggery is going to expiry within a week,

In view of the above circumstances the Director, MDM is dicided go to verify the stock at Buffer godowns/MLS points /FP shops. Hence the QRC are requested to verify the stock at Buffer godowns (tverified by Dist team)/MLS points (verified by mandal team)/FP shops(Verified by HMs)- and submit the report on left over stock of Ragi, Jaggery as on 25.02.2024 immediately in given Annexure within two days.
