School Education Department MDM & SS Providing Eggs and Peanaut Jaggery Chikkies to all Students in the School to enhance the nutritional intake by all School children in the State Orders Issued - Reg.

All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that Eggs are provided for 5 days a week and Peanut Jaggery Chikkies are provided for 3 days a week to the School Children who take Mid day meals in the Schools. The Government have decided to provide Eggs and Peanut Jaggery Chikkies to all Students in the School under the Jagananna Gorumudda(JGM) scheme irrespective of them having Mid day meals at Schools so as to enhance the nutritional intake by all the School Children in the State.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the State are hereby requested to issue necessary instructions all the Head Mastersof Schools in the State to provide Eggs and Chikkies during Midday Meal to all the Students in the School irrespective of them having
Mid day meals at Schools from the academic year 2022-23 under Jagananna Gorumudda(JGM) scheme.
The District Educational Officers in the State are further requested to issue instructions to field level functionaries to maintain the relevant Records, Registers, Inspection details and App entries in the IMMS App withouit fail.
