Ref:Government of Andhra Pradesh, after reviewing the schemes implemented to provide financial assistance to the students to pursue higher education in foreign countries to complete professional courses and MBBS course, has decided to implement the new scheme "Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevana" from 2022-23 onwards for the  students belonging to SC/ST/BC/Minority/EBC including Kapu students.

In addition to the guidelines stipulated vide G.O cited, the following instructions are issued for effective implementation of the new scheme.

1. The financial assistance shall be sanctioned to those students who get admission In any of the TOP 200 Universities as per the latest QS World University rankings.

2. Portal name: https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in 3. The following are the list of documents which should be uploaded by the student In the portal at the stage of filing of online application.

1. Caste Certificate from concerned Village/Ward Secretariat.

ii. Income certificate from concerned Village/Ward Secretariat and it should be physically certified by the concerned District Collector.

iii. Ration card of the family of the student, if available

iv.SSC certificate/Date of birth certificate (for the purpose of determining the eligible age prescribed for the scheme)

v.Aadhar Card.

vi. Nativity certificate from the Mee Seva/Revenue Department.

vii. Qualifying Intermediate/Degree/PG certificate for admission to MBBS/PG course/Ph.D course respectively.

viii. Mark sheet of qualifying examination (for proof of acquiring minimum prescribed marks) ix. TOEFL/IELTS/GRE/GMAT score sheet Unconditional offer letter from foreign university.

xi. NEET score card, in case of admission into MBBS course

xii. Copy of the latest Tax Returns of family members, wherever applicable

xili. Nationalised Bank Account details of student

xiv. Latest passport size photo. Scanned signature

xvi. Self-certification from the student that no other member of his family availed financial assistance under similar scheme from the  state or central government and he/she also has not availed similar scheme from the state/central government previously.

4. After application is filed in full shape, the details will get reflected immediately in the logins of concerned district welfare officers for verifying whether the data entered is matching with the certificates uploaded and whether the student is eligible as per the guidelines prescribed in the G.O cited or not.

5. On the recommendation of the District SC Welfare & Empowerment Officer/District Tribal Welfare & Empowerment Officer/District BC Welfare & Empowerment Officer/District Minority Welfare Officer concerned, the application gets displayed in the login of the state level officer of the welfare department/corporation concerned for processing them and for submitting them for the state level committee.

6. The state level committees can be convened periodically depending on the number  of applications filed in the portal, so that selections can be made as early as possible and the selected candidates can prepare for other procedural requirements to go abroad for their studies.

7. Students who personally attended before State Level Selection Committee shall only be considered under the scheme.

8. Students selected should furnish a notarised affidavit on Rs.100/- stamp paper stating that the details furnished in the application are true and if he/she discontinues the course, he/she shall be liable to repay the entire sanctioned amount. 

9. Students who already left and are pursuing studies abroad shall not be considered under the scheme.

A press note will be issued on 3rd August,2022 at the state level as well as in all the districts inviting applications from eligible and interested candidates. The service for filing of applications in the portal will be provided in jnanabhumi portal with effect from August, 2022
