The Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted annually by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh (SBTET AP). AP Polycet 2024 Exam Pattern
The AP POLY CET exam consists of 3 papers:
Paper 1 is for Mathematics and Aptitude and General Awareness. It has 120 multiple choice questions (MCQs).
Paper 2 is for the chosen Diploma stream. It has 60 multiple choice questions from the core subjects of the stream.
Paper 3 is for English and Telugu/Urdu. It has 100 multiple choice questions - 75 for English Grammar, Comprehension and Vocabulary and 25 for Telugu/Urdu Grammar and Comprehension.
The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes. Each paper is for 50 minutes duration.
The marking scheme is as follows:
- For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded
- There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
So the maximum marks for AP POLYCET is 300 marks (120 for Paper 1 + 60 for Paper 2 + 100 for Paper 3).
