The eligibility criteria for AP EdCET 2024 are as follows:
Nationality: Candidates should be Indian nationals.
Local/Non-Local Status: Candidates must fulfill the local/non-local status criteria as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974, along with any subsequent amendments.
Candidates must have either passed or be appearing for the final year examination of B.Sc./B.Com/B.A./BBM and BCA. When applying for the examination, they must be able to produce the mark sheet or pass certificate.
Candidates must have secured at least 50% in the graduation or post-graduation course.
Candidates may also have a degree from a 5-year integrated course in any relevant subject.
Those who have qualified B.Tech or B.E (with Mathematics and Physics) with 50% marks are eligible for admission into the course.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be at least 19 years old when they submit the form.
There is no upper age limit to appear for this examination.
Reservation:
Candidates belonging to reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes (OBC-A, OBC-B, OBC-C, OBC-D, and OBC-E) must have secured at least 40% marks in the last qualifying examination12.

The A.P. Common Entrance Test (APEdCET-2024) will be conducted on June 8, 2024 for admission into regular B.Ed. and B.Ed.Spl. (H.I, V.I, and I.D) courses. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online by paying the registration and processing fee. For OC candidates, the fee is Rs. 650/-, for BC candidates it’s Rs. 500/-, and for SC/ST candidates, it’s Rs. 450/-12.
