Summative Assessment 2, 2022 -Certain Instructions issued Rc.983 Dt:25.04.22

Sub: School Education - SCERT, AP -Summative Assessment 2, 2022 -Certain Instructions issued -Reg.

All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District Educational Officers in the state are aware that Summative Assessment 2 is scheduled from 22nd April 2022 to 4th May 2022. Further,it is known that all Assessments/exams are being conducted with common question papers across the State. 

Therefore, they are directed to take utmost precautionary measures to maintain the secrecy of the exams and question papers at all levels, duly following the below guidelines and to ensure that Summative Assessment 2 examinations are conducted smoothly.

  1. All the District Educational Officers should ensure that the day wise. school wise packing of question papers are to be supplied to Mandal level storage point to distribute the same to the schools concerned on the day of examination. 
  2. Mandal level committee should be constituted headed by Mandal Educational Officer concerned and Headmaster of High school,Headmaster of Upper Primary School and LFL Headmaster as members to ensure the confidentiality of the question papers as well the smooth conduct of the Summative Assessment To have a specific plan and strategy in respect of agency areas regarding the supply of question papers to schools
  3. Mandal Educational Officers shall nominate a School Complex Headmaster to perform the duties as head of the Mandal level committee for which he/she is holding the FAC to the post of MEO.
  4. The Mandal wise packing should be preserved in an identified strong room at each Mandal and should be opened by the Mandal level committee after certifying the intactness of the bundles one hour before starting the examination..
  5. District Level committees should visit all the days of Assessments and ensure the secrecy of the question papers and examination procedure 

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state are directed to conduct the Summative Assessment to peacefully and all the answer sheets are valued and the marks are disseminated to students soon after completion of the examination. If any adverse/unwanted situations occur in the conduct of the Summative Assessment 2 disciplinary action will be initiated against the responsible.
