The Regional Joint Directors of Kakinada and Guntur, District Educational Officers of NTR, Eluru, Palnadu, Prakasam, Guntur districts are informed that for the academic year 2023-24, Department of School Education in association with Jammel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) South Asia is conducting a pilot on maths games by name "Every Child Counts" for class I in 45 foundational schools and 5 foundation plus schools in five districts - NTR, Eluru, Palnadu, Prakasam and Guntur.

Every Child Counts is a maths games programme that provides young children with the right stimulus to translate their innate understanding of mathematics into formal symbolic applications of mathematics in school. As a part of pilot study training for maths games is going to be conducted for four days from 30-10-2023 to 02-11-2023 at SCERT,AP conference hall, Mahanadu Road, Swamy mansion, Vijayawada.

In this regard, the concerned District Educational Officers are requested to relieve the secondary grade teachers dealing class I maths in the list so as to enable them to attend the above said training programme from 30-10-2023 to 02-11-2023 for four days. If any school in the list is single teacher school, concerned DEOs are directed to make alternate arrangements so that school is not closed during training dates.

All the participants are requested to port to Director,SCERT on 30-10-2023 by 9am with out fail. The list is annexed to this proceedings. TA/DA will be given as per the CCA norms. For any queries call Smt. K.Rama Mani, cell no.7013872803.
