In the reference 1st cited. Government issued guidelines for engaging Sanitary. workers (Aayas) in Govt Schools & Colleges duly meeting the Honorarium from the Toilet Maintenance Fund which was voluntarily donated by the mothers from the benefits of Ammavodi sanctioned by the Government.

Accordingly, vide reference 2nd cited, the Director, MDM & School Sanitation, School Education Department, A.P., directed to engage Aayas in Residential Schools through Parents Committee College Development Committee for maintaining cleanliness and upkeep the toilets in the institutions duly meeting the honorarium from the Toilet Maintenance Fund, duly following the guidelines issued in the reference 1st cited. In view of the above, all the Principals of APR Schools & Junior Colleges are directed to take necessary action on appointment of Aayas for maintaining cleanliness and upkeep the toilets in respective institutions as per the guidelines. The details of Aayas engaged in the institutions shall be submitted to this office on or before 05.07.2022, without fail.
