DSC 2024 Teacher Recruitment Test(TRT) for the posts of School Assistants(SA’s), Languages, Non- Languages, Physical Education Teachers and Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) in School Education Department.
- In pursuance of the orders of the Government issued in G.O.Ms.No.11, Edn., dated: 12.02.2024 applications are invited through online. The application format is available in Website http://cse.ap.gov.in from 12/02/2024 to 21/02/2024 for recruitment to the posts of School Assistants - Languages , School Assistants- Non Languages, SA (PE) and Secondary Grade Teachers in Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad Schools, Municipal, Municipal Corporation schools and Tribal welfare Ashram Schools in the State through District Selection Committee
- The applicants are requested to carefully go through the Information Bulletin and should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for this recruitment, before payment of fee and submission of application. The Information Bulletin will be available in website http://cse.ap.gov.in from the date of notification which can be downloaded free of cost.
- The applicants have to pay a fee of Rs.750/- towards application processing and conduct of Recruitment Test (for each post separately) through Payment Gateway from 12/02/2024 to 21/02/2024. The last date for payment of fee is 21/02/2024 and last date for submission of application online is 22/02/2024. On receipt of fee the candidate shall be issued a ‘Journal Number’ with which he/ she can proceed with submission of application online. Issue of Journal Number does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received. If the candidate wants to apply for more than one post he/she should apply each post separately.
- The step by step procedure for submission of application through online will be given in USER GUIDE on website (http://cse.ap.gov.in) which will be made available from 12/02/2024. The post wise vacancies in each district are in web site (http://cse.ap.gov.in) from 12/02/2024..
- The applicant shall compulsorily upload his/her own scanned recent photo and signature.
- Written Test (CBT):- The Computer Based Test shall be conducted in all the districts. A candidate shall appear for the Computer Based Test in the district in which he/she seeks recruitment (or) in adjacent districts.
- The persons already in Government Service/Autonomous bodies/Government Aided institutions etc., whether in permanent or temporary capacity or as work charged employees are however, required to inform in writing, their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for this recruitment.
- Schedule of Written Test: Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for the posts of School Assistants(SA’s Languages and Non Languages, PE), and Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs).

AP DSC Rule of Reservation:
- The rule of reservation to local candidates is applicable and the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (OLC&RDR) Order (Presidential Order) 1975 and amendments there to shallbe followed strictly.
- The rule of special representation in the matter of appointment of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Physically Challenged, Ex-service Men, women and meritorious sportspersons is applicable as per Rule 22 of the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996 as amended from time to time.
- The rules issued from time to time by the Department of Disabled Welfare shall be followed in respect of special representation for differently abled (Physically challenged) persons.
d. The Rules issued from time to time by the Department of Youth Advancement, Tourism & Culture (Sports) shall be followed in respect of meritorious sportspersons.
AP DSC METHOD OF RECRUITMENT:
The Recruitment shall be through a selection process consisting of Computer based Written Test (CBT)and other criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time (as notified in District Selection Committee (DSC)-2018).
- For School Assistants Languages and Non Languages the total marks shall be 100, out of which 80 marks shall be for the Written Test (TRT) and remaining 20 marks for APTET (20%) Weightage. (as notified in District Selection Committee (DSC)-2018)
- For Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) the total marks shall be 100, out of which 80 marks shall be for the Written Test (TRT) and remaining 20 marks for APTET (20%) Weightage.
- For School Assistant (PE) and Physical Education (PET) the total marks shall be 100 for written test. Recruitment will be purely based on merit cum roster system as per the existing provisions being adopted by Government of Andhra Pradesh. (as notified in District Selection Committee (DSC)-2018)
AP DSC 2024 QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY :-
(as notified in District Selection Committee (DSC)-2018) (1) A candidate for selection to the posts of Teachers shall possess the academic and professional/ training qualifications as follows:-
(a) Must be fully qualified for the post applied for and in possession of all Certificates as on the last date prescribed in the notification for submission of applications.
(b) (i) Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (or) other equivalent certificates recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
(ii) Must possess Academic degrees of Universities recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
(iii) Teacher Education Courses recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
(iv) Distance Mode courses offered by Universities and Deemed Universities recognized by Joint Committee comprising University Grants Commission(UGC), Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and with jurisdiction to operate such courses in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
(v) Special Education Courses recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
(vi) The candidates should qualified in the AP Teacher Eligibility
14 Test (APTETs) for the posts of Secondary Grade Teachersand for the posts of School Assistants.
(2) Post wise qualifications:
(i) School Assistants
(a) School Assistant (Mathematics)
Must possess Graduation with Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Statistics OR one of the three equal optional subjects and a B.Ed degree with Mathematics as a methodology subject.
(b) School Assistant (Physical Sciences)
Must possess Graduation with at least two of the following subjects as optional subjects: Physics / Applied Physics / Engineering Physics & Instrumentation and Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry / Geology or either Physics / its allied subjects or Chemistry / its allied subjects as one of the main subject and other as subsidiary / ancillary subject and B.Ed. degree with Physical Science / Physics / Chemistry / Science as a methodology subject.
OR
B.C.A Candidate with Physics and Chemistry at Intermediate level as group subjects and B.Ed. degree with Physical Science / Physics / Chemistry / Science as a methodology subject
(c) School Assistant (Biological Science)
Must possess a Graduation with Botany and Zoology as optional subjects or one of the two as main and the other as subsidiary subject or any two of other allied subjects viz. (e) School Assistant (English)
Must possess A Bachelors Degree with English as the main subject (or) one of the optional subjects or a Post Graduate Degree in English and a B.Ed Degree with English as methodology subject.
(f) School Assistant (Telugu)
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Telugu as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects or Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in Telugu (B.O.L) or its equivalent or a Post Graduate Degree in Telugu and B.Ed with Telugu as methodology Subject or Telugu Pandit Training or its equivalent.
(g) School Assistant (Hindi) Academic qualifications
Must possess Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the Main subject or Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in Hindi (B.O.L) or Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA degree Standard) or a Post Graduate Degree in Hindi of the following as per table – I and along with any one of the training qualifications as per table – II. AP DSC SYLLABUS :[as notified in District Selection Committee (DSC)-2018)]
The details of syllabus, allocation of marks to different subjects, content and structure of Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) shall be notified in the Information Bulletin to be issued by the Commissioner of School Education through the official website designated for this purpose.

The Joint Director(TET) of this office is invited to the reference cited,wherein the Government have accorded permission to the Commissioner of School Education (1) to fill up the vacancies of Direct Recruitment quota of 6,100 teachers in School Education, Tribal Welfare, BC Welfare Society and Social Welfare Society, by way of direct recruitment through DSC- 2024, duly placing them under apprenticeship for a period of (2) years on consolidated subject to the following conditions:-
i. The notification be limited only to clear vacancies as notified by the Departments concerned. The posts occupied by any kind of existing contractual/ outsourcing appointments whatsoever, shall be deleted. ii. The candidates on the selection and appointment will be paid. consolidated pay as decided later, for a period of 2 years. They will be given scale of pay after satisfactory completion of 2 years probation.
2. In this regard, government have directed to take further necessary action accordingly and shall send necessary guidelines for conducting DSC, 2024, for approval of the Government.
3. In this connection, it is submitted that during the discussions with Minister (Edn) by Principal Secretary(SE), CSE, JD(SER) and JD(TET) on 06.02.2024 at Secretariat, the following decisions have taken to conduct DSC 2024.
a. Revise the SGT vacancies in all districts in School Education managements.
b. Submit proposal on apprenticeship stipend amount to DSC 2024 selected candidates.
4. In this regard, it is informed that previously proposed vac DSC-2024 for School Education managements i.e ZP/MPP, Govt and Mpl
5. Now, As per the Higher authorities directions, SGT vacancies are. raised in all districts except Kurnool and decreased the SGT vacancies in Kurnool and SA(PE) vacancies in all districts and deleted the SA(PE) and PET vacancies in APREIS society and limited to 6,100. In this regard, the revised vacancies in DSC-2024 for School Education managements i.e ZP/MPP, Govt and Mpl.
In this regard, the Joint Director(TET) of this office is requested to take necessary on the revised vacancies in School Education Department and send necessary guidelines for conducting DSC, 2024, for approval of the Government.
AP DSC Notification: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో ఉపాధ్యాయ నియామకాలకు సంబంధించిన డిఎస్సీ నోటిఫికేషన్ విద్యా శాఖ మంత్రి బొత్స సత్యనారాయణ సచివాలయంలో విడుదల చేశారు.
మొత్తం 6100 పోస్టులతో నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల చేస్తున్నట్లు ప్రకటించారు. ఫిబ్రవరి 12వ తేదీ నుంచి 22వ తేదీ వరకు దరఖాస్తులు స్వీకరించనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించారు.
ప్రభుత్వం భర్తీ చేయనున్న పోస్టుల్లో 2280 సెకండరీ గ్రేడ్ టీచర్ పోస్టులు, స్కూలు అసిస్టెంట్స్ పోస్టులు 2299 , 1264- టిజిటిలు, 215 ఫిజికల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ టీచర్లు, ప్రిన్సిపల్స్ 42 పోస్టులు కలిపి మొత్తం 6100 పోస్టులకి డిఎస్సీ ద్వారా భర్తీ చేస్తారు.
ఫిబ్రవరి 12వ తేదీ నుంచి ఫిబ్రవరి 21 వరకూ ఫీజు చెల్లించడానికి పేమెంట్ గేట్వేలు అందుబాటులో ఉంటాయి. ఫిబ్రవరి 22 వరకూ దరఖాస్తులు స్వీకరిస్తారని మంత్రి బొత్స వివరించారు.
మార్చి 5వ తేదీ నుంచి హాల్ టిక్కెట్లు డౌన్ లోడ్ చేసుకునే అవకాశం ఉంటుందని చెప్పారు. మార్చి 15 నుంచి 30 వరకూ ఆన్ లైన్ లో పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.
ఉదయం 9.30 గంటల నుంచి 12 వరకు ఒక సెషన్లో ...మధ్యాహ్నం 2.30 గంటల నుంచి సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల వరకు రెండవ సెషన్లో పరీక్షలు జరుగుతాయి.
మార్చి 31వ తేదీన ప్రాధమిక కీ విడుదల చేస్తారు. ఏప్రిల్ 1న ప్రాధమిక కీ పై అభ్యంతరాల స్వీకరిచడానికి గడువుగా నిర్ణయించారు. ఏప్రిల్ రెండున ఫైనల్ కీ విడుదల చేస్తారు.
ఏప్రిల్ 7న డిఎస్సీ ఫలితాలు వెలువరిస్తారు. 2018 సిలబస్ ప్రకారమే పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించారు. జనరల్ కేటగిరీ అభ్యర్థులకు గరిష్ట వయోపరిమితి 44 ఏళ్ళుగా నిర్ణయించారు. రిజర్వ్ కేటగిరీ అభ్యర్థులకు మరో ఐదేళ్లు పరిమితి ఉంటుందని చెప్పారు. నోటిఫికేషన్, జిల్లాల వారీగా ఖాళీలు, పరీక్షా కేంద్రాలు తదితర వివరాలు https://apdsc.apcfss.in/ వెబ్ సైట్ లో అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయని వివరించారు.
